Clear cookies and cache

For PC/Laptop

Clear cookies and cache in Chrome?

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the Chrome menu on the top right-hand corner of the browser toolbar
  3. Select 'Tools'
  4. Click 'Clear browsing data'
  5. Select 'Obliterate the following items from: the beginning of time'
  6. Tick 'Cookies and other site and plug-in data' and 'Cached images and files'
  7. Click 'Clear browsing data'

Clear cookies and cache in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click the 'Tools' menu on the top right-hand corner of the browser toolbar
  3. Select 'Safety'
  4. Click 'Delete browsing history'
  5. Unselect 'Preserve Favorites website data'
  6. Tick 'Temporary Internet files and website files' and 'Cookies and website data'
  7. Click 'Delete'

Clear cookies and cache in Firefox

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click the Firefox menu on the top right-hand corner of the browser toolbar
  3. Click 'History'
  4. Click 'Clear recent history'
  5. Select 'Everything' as the time range
  6. Tick 'Cookies' and 'Cache'
  7. Click 'Clear now'

Clear cookies and cache in Safari

  1. Open Safari
  2. Click 'Edit' in the top menu
  3. Click 'Empty cache'
  4. On the 'Are you sure you want to empty the cache?' message, click 'Empty'
  5. Click 'Edit' in the top menu
  6. Click 'Preferences'
  7. Click the 'Privacy' tab
  8. Click 'Remove all website data'
  9. On the 'Are you sure you want to remove all data stored by websites on your computer?' message, click 'Remove now'

Clear cookies and cache in Opera

  1. Open Opera
  2. Click 'Opera' in the top left-hand corner of the browser toolbar
  3. Click 'History'
  4. Click 'Clear browsing data'
  5. Select 'Obliterate the following items from: the beginning of time'
  6. Tick 'Delete cookies and other site data' and 'Empty the cache'
  7. Click 'Clear browsing data'

For mobile and tablet

Clear cookies and cache in Safari

  1. Go to 'Settings' in your device's main menu
  2. Scroll down and select 'Safari'
  3. Click 'Clear history and website data'
  4. On the 'Clearing will remove history, cookies and other browsing data' message, click 'Clear history and data'

Clear cookies and cache in Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the Menu button on your device
  3. Click 'History'
  4. Click 'Clear browsing history'
  5. Tick 'Clear the cache' and 'Clear cookies, site data'
  6. Click 'Clear'

Clear cookies and cache in Android Browser

  1. Open Android Browser
  2. Click the Menu button on your device
  3. Click 'Settings'
  4. Click 'Privacy and security'
  5. Click 'Clear cache'
  6. On the 'Delete locally cached content and databases' message, click 'OK'
  7. Click 'Clear all cookie data'
  8. On the 'Delete all cookies' message, click 'OK'

Clear cookies and cache in Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Open the menu by clicking the three dots in the bottom right-hand corner
  3. Click 'Settings'
  4. Click 'Delete history'
  5. On the 'Are you sure?' message, click 'Delete'
