Description
Becoming a manager for the first time is a significant shift in responsibility. The skills that make someone successful as an individual contributor do not automatically translate into managing people.
This practical course provides new and aspiring managers with the essential tools to lead effectively from day one. Learners will explore how to establish credibility, build trust, communicate clearly, delegate effectively and manage different personalities and working styles.
The course also covers giving and receiving feedback, setting expectations, managing performance, handling difficult conversations and supporting employee development. Participants will leave with practical approaches they can apply immediately in their day-to-day management role.
