Description
Emotional intelligence is increasingly recognised as a key factor in workplace success. It influences how we manage emotions, build relationships, communicate with others, make decisions, and respond to pressure and change. This practical development programme is designed to help you strengthen these skills through a combination of assessment, personalised feedback, live training, and ongoing development support.
Course Content - What You Will Learn
Stage 1: EQ-i 2.0 Assessment
Your learning journey begins with the EQ-i 2.0, one of the world's most widely used emotional intelligence assessments. The assessment provides detailed insight into your emotional intelligence across five key areas:
- Self-Perception
- Self-Expression
- Interpersonal Skills
- Decision Making
- Stress Management
The results help you understand your strengths and identify opportunities for development, creating a personalised foundation for the rest of the programme.
Stage 2: 1-1 Feedback Session
Once your assessment is complete, you will receive a confidential one-to-one feedback session with an experienced consultant.
During this session, you will:
- Gain a deeper understanding of your results
- Explore your strengths and development areas
- Identify practical priorities for growth
- Prepare for the live workshop
This personalised approach ensures that your learning is relevant to your own goals and workplace challenges.
Stage 3: Live Online Workshop
The interactive workshop builds on the insight gained from your assessment and feedback session, helping you translate self-awareness into practical action.
Topics include:
- Why emotional intelligence matters
- Understanding and applying your results
- Managing emotions effectively
- Using emotional intelligence in the workplace
- Creating a personal development plan
This half-day workshop combines facilitator input, practical exercises, discussion, and reflection activities to help you apply your learning immediately.
Stage 4: Development Resources
Following the programme, you will receive access to the EQ Extra development series, which includes a collection of bite-sized emotional intelligence videos and accompanying development plans.
These resources provide practical strategies and ongoing support to help you continue developing your emotional intelligence over time, allowing you to revisit the key topics that are most relevant to you.
